September 4, 1972 - Robert Bowers

The attack on the Tree of Life synagogue on October 27, 2018, stands as the deadliest antisemitic attack in American history, carried out against three congregations gathered for Shabbat morning services. Bowers had spent time on fringe social media platforms voicing hatred toward Jewish refugee aid organizations before translating that rhetoric into violence.
